McLean 4 x 4 Memorial Day Soccer Tournament

Amour Properties was the sole sponsor for this event and provided $5000 in goods and services. The tournament hosted at least 1000 kids who compete at the recreational or travel skill levels.

Corolla Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department

This dedicated group of local residents provide lifesaving, fire, and paramedic services to the town of Corolla in Currituck County on the Outer Banks.

Habitat for Humanity

Amour Properties donates funds to Habitat for Humanity. As its web site says: "Through the work of Habitat, thousands of low-income families have found new hope in the form of affordable housing.

Over the last 13 years, as her children have moved through the local school system, Peggy has volunteered in the classroom and with the schools' athletic teams. She has also donated time as a manager and team parent on club soccer teams and served as volunteer coordinator for McLean soccer tournaments.

For 20 years, Roger has been involved in soccer in coaching and administrator roles. He has coached at the recreational and travel levels where his teams have won several championships and Good Sportsmanship Awards. As an administrator, he served as Chairman of McLean Soccer for 12 years and received its Lifetime Achievement Award. Roger also has served on the National Capital Soccer League board as Treasurer and on the Virginia State Soccer board as a recreational commissioner.
